Last day for peak seasonals

I was hired as a seasonal ramp-handler at the Rockford, IL hub on Oct 21st. During the orientation/tour we were told that our last day of employment would be the 23rd of Dec.

I'm wondering if anyone here knows that this will be our true last day?

Will we be expected to turn in our vest, badge, and time cards at the end of our shift?

I'd imagine they will mail the final paycheck?

I'm asking here because I wasn't presented with this information during the training process, and haven't noticed it listed in the various contracts.

Your last check is normally held until you turn in all company property.

Your last day is the 23rd as there will be limited pickups made on the 24th.

Your last day is the 23rd, until they call you back because they'll cut routes to the bone after Christmas since they negotiated the peak lasts till mid January. They had helpers in street clothes here last year because of "last minute" volume in January.

Not sure what a ramp handler is, I just know we are severely understaffed in every area after Christmas. I'd imagine with all the loads being rolled this year more people will be kept on after thier supposed last day.
