UPS Inc., the world's largest shipping carrier, said Wednesday that less than one-third of the employees it offered severance packages to in December had accepted the buyouts.

I guess they like UPS that much .

Or the SCS unit, as bloated as she was/is, has its corp employees making ridiculous salary and getting little productivity in return. I wonder if their office is unionized...

I'm not too worried, at least they're trying to downsize while they're ahead, unlike BestBuy, for example...
