Well RR, your second image isn't showing up for me, but considering the first it's probably similar. The tax rate really doesn't matter as long as the core of TEA feels they're being taxed too much. You can argue they're whining, but as long as they are actually being taxed they can have the opinion they are "Taxed Enough Already."

The point of the post is that most are being taxed at historically low levels. The country did better as a whole when the tax rates were higher, especially on the high income earners.

'Taxed Enough Already' is a red herring. The super wealthy invented the 'grass roots' movement and got a bunch of low information voters to buy into it, against their personal interests.

Things will get worse before they get better. Austerity is a failed policy.

At the same time, those ultra rich creators of the Tea Party is getting even richer by the moment as they suck out the hard cash from those low information voters who willingly give their money to them.

If they only knew how they were getting ripped off they would stop, but they are desperate to revive their political party they will give cash to the devil to do it.

According to Obama its patriotic to pay more taxes. Yet he didn't seem to pay any more himself after saying that.

You still don't GET IT. There are more taxes than just the income tax. There are more levels of government than jest the federal government taxing us.
