So all the republicans pretending democrats were blocking the $2000 checks and not republicans and the trump White House, how do y’all explain open public enthusiasm by democratic leadership for those checks and Republican and White House silence on those checks? Ted Lieu says Mnuchin "failed the American people" with stimulus bill. Trump is utterly incompetent. His man is negotiating a stimulus deal that he doesn’t support but he doesn’t tell him that and we get this bs. Wow how unorganized and what a lack of leadership.

Are we passing a budget, or an emergency relief act?
It is amazing, trump is such a liar and republicans just pretend to be against stuff they actually support in the federal budget. Smh. Like you can’t even talk to people that don’t know what they actually believe, don’t know what the people they support believe, and don’t seem to care about public policy. All government is in reality is what is the government spending money on, and that is of the least interest to Republican voters unless that spending is derided as “welfare”, foreign aid, or waste. The actual specifics they just don’t care to know.

I understand you're upset that President Trump is against millions of taxpayer dollars being given to Pakistan for gender studies initiatives. Maybe you and your communist comrades can start a go fund me page for it.

Revisionist history. Pelosi refused to even take up a bill before the election in spite of millions needing help.

Another example of trump humiliating his own supporters. So trump either didn’t know what was going on with the stimulus bill, didn’t care what was going on with the stimulus bill, or he knew and cared, but didn’t tell Munchin, who was representing the White House in the negotiations, that he didn't support the stimulus bill. Instead trump let’s the bill get drafted and approved by Congress and then he gives a speech trashing his own stimulus bill that the White House helped write. Just pure incompetence.
Then during the speech where trump is trashing his own stimulus bill, he either lies about the contents of the stimulus package or he doesn’t know the contents of the stimulus package by adding in a bunch of spending that’s not even in the stimulus bill.
Then during that speech trump either pretends he doesn’t support spending that’s he does support or he doesn’t know what spending he does support. And this farce of a speech gets his voters to pretend all of this was an example of his great leadership. I mean trump constantly humiliates his own supporters.

You humiliate yourself. Wasn't a stimulus bill. It's the government's budget. Covid relief was included in it. You can't even spell Mnuchin but want to lecture us.

The Democrats in the house passed two stimulus packages one in May that offered households up to $6000, extended the $600 unemployment benefit, and gave hazard pay to front line workers. It was a 3billion dollar bill, and a smaller stimulus bill of 2.2 billion in October that still sent out a lot of direct money to Americans. Both times the trump White House and senate republicans rejected those bills.

Trillion, not billion. The objection was Pelosi was trying to bail out blue state governments. And they did offer $1.9 Trillion in September which Pelosi refused. Even Democrats are criticising her for not taking the bigger relief package but now accepting the $600 per person bill.
