“BREAKING: Judge Sullivan does not dismiss the Michael Flynn case. Instead, he enters a stay of the proceedings, suggesting he will file a petition for a rehearing en banc. Donald Trump’s spiking of the football was premature.”
It either goes to the full court of appeals or he dismisses as ordered. He cancelled a mid-July hearing so speculation is he will dismiss it.

Is Rao truly saying that a judge scrutinizing a prosecutor’s reasoning and motive is no longer appropriate?
It's almost automatic when a prosecutor asks a judge to dismiss a case in light of new evidence that the judge does so. The judge is supposed to be impartial, not take sides.

It is truly a sight to see the fan fiction of trump supporters. I imagine, they'll soon be like GWBush supporters who at one time called him a great war time president. Yet now there are very few who claim anything he did as president. GWBush had a lot of corruption a lot of officials who were convicted of various crimes and some served jail time which is what we see in trump's administration. Flynn lied to the FBI, and whether one agrees lying to the fbi is a crime, but right now trump fans are pretending that they believe Flynn, if November is as bad for trump as it is looking right now, by next year very few will claim trump, just like very few claim GWBush.

The initial interviewers didn't believe he lied. Notes and texts from Peter Strzok tell us a different story, that the FBI brass changed the 302 interview form to make it seem like he lied, then brought terrible pressure on him including huge financial pressure through legal fees to coerce Flynn into saying he lied to get out from under. It's exactly why the prosecution is seeking to dismiss this case and an appeals court panel just ordered the judge to dismiss it. You may want to believe the worst but the evidence says otherwise.

Again, this is all very familiar, GWBush fans used to defend the various criminals in his administration who were prosecuted and convicted of crimes, they used to love GWBush and said he was a great war time president who was crushing terrorism and was made for this moment. This was the widespread rhetoric of republicans under GWBush and now very few claim Bush or his political cronies. The same thing awaits trump and his criminal cronies. His failure as president is monumental. These fantasies about Flynn being innocent a victim of the deep state out to get trump will all be forgotten very shortly. The same way GWBush fan fiction is memory holed now. Smh trump fans truly live in a fantasy world. But you do you.

This is a different world than when Bush was Prez. Bush Senior always pushed the "Thousand Points of Light". The Bush's, like the Clintons, stand for all that is wrong with America. Cry all you want but bottom line a court told judge to dismiss the case. Was not ruled on by wild eyed Trump supporters. And you're going to be disappointed to find out the "deep state" is about to get indicted by possibly the most respected Federal prosecutor in the country. Plenty of evidence has been turned up to support that. Looking great for Democrats!
