I agree that the Bush administration took advantage of the 9/11 tragedy to take out Hussein, who was threatening to take Euros for his oil which threatened the Dollar. But 9/11 was planned and executed by Muslim fanatics, mostly from Saudi Arabia. Think of the obvious, who's going to sacrifice themselves at the request of the U.S. government? And they took advantage of lax security standards to get flight training in the U.S., not in their home country where very strict security measures would get them noticed quickly.
