Vast majority of jobs in the military are non-combat, you'd be surprised at how many service members spend their days in what is essentially an office environment. Even in an infantry Bn there's a HQ section that basically never goes to the field, and when they do it's just to work in a big temporary office tent/structure.

Anyway, I have no idea whose values are being attacked by the left because of Dr seuss or popular music or why anyone should care. Go enjoy whatever you like. It is easy. I know, but hip hop right now is youth culture. Almost all American children/teen listen to hip hop music. It's commercially dominate. But back in the late 1980's, hip hop music was the underdog, the music industry hated it, radio hated it, tv hated it, advertisers hated it, my parents both disliked rap music, teachers I liked hated hip hop music, plus in the wider American culture it was heavily criticized, And yet the idea of whining as a fan of hip hop music and forming an identity around that criticism as an attack against our values never crossed our minds.
