The Democrats used it hundreds of times during the Trump administration. They'd be crazy to give it up.
Requiring senators to actually take the floor and debate is not weakening the filibuster. It’s actually adhering to it.
Everything is a negotiation.
It's requiring at least 60 senators to pass a bill. As divided as we are that can stop just about any negotiation.
