Masks required

Just got told not to come into work without a mask. Was told to contact internal UPS for a new job through AMA. There were about 85% of a 300 person building wearing while the rest have been forced to wear it now or they will be escorted from premises.
I have a medical exemption from wearing a mask/shield(as stated in our paper handouts on mandatory mask/shields. I was told I can't work until they receive paperwork that has not been mailed out yet since Tuesday and that I may receive it next week.
I'm not being paid at the moment.

There doesn’t need to be a law. I’ve worked on sites where you’d get fired for not wearing a hard hat. The guy behind the deli counter can get fired for not wearing his hairnet...
The appropriate safety protocol for entering a building with other human beings is to wear a mask. You may not get fired, but don’t pretend it’s unconstitutional for an employer to mandate safety rules.

It helps when there is actual scientific evidence to back up the requirements. How many other safety protocols are designed to put the responsibility on one person for protecting everyone around them?
 
When you follow the posted rules, having a note from your doctor for a medical condition, what rule are you breaking. 6 feet apart seemed reasonable and was followed. Their rules posted state you are not required to wear a mask or shield if you have a medical condition. There are still supervisors and workers who do not have any conditions or notes and take it off when the big bosses aren't around to say anything. Why would they lost you can be exempt if you can not? Following the posted rules as they are stated by yoir employer should not mean a loss of your job.
This is no hard hat issue. This is rules being followed as requested by my employer who posted them as they were recommended to. Perhaps their interpretation of the law and recommended guidelines is the issue?

Sounds like they are requiring you to get a ADA.
