Medical Errors Kill More People a Year Than Guns Do...

4357 Children were killed by firearms in the US in 2020. Making it the leading cause of death for US children. The Firearm childhood morality rate in the US is 7 times higher than it is in Canada.

I mean I get it #MAGA and everything. But it seems like US Magas could attempt to address this issue. And not just go in on some nonsensical rant about airplanes.

If there's no way we could make guns safer could we increase mental health funding instead of blocking it at every opportunity?

Maybe if someone isn't mentally stable we don't give them a gun?

Just trying to be a reasonable maga here.
When you count the deaths up to age 19 as "children" how many of those were gang related?

Idk. So is your solution to keep this kids out of gangs?
That would be nice but that’s not the governments job. That’s a moral / spiritual issue. Can you imagine the people who we call leaders in Washington preaching to us about moral and spiritually issues?

Who are you suggesting should do something? I’m suggesting it’s a spiritual/ moral issue. Maga want to take guns if someone “feels” you’re dangerous.

I mean the leading cause of death in children is firearms. Surely someone can do something other than just shrugging their shoulders. Maybe Democrats, Republicans and MAGAs could come together to save the children.

Yeah. Children are being slaughtered in this country and the general response is laughing emojis.
Yes, they’re dying in the streets and the government needs to stop it. You feel to realize I’m not laughing about children dying I’m laughing you believe the government will stop it.

Yes. Every time the issue is raised US MAGAs just start screaming fake news. Maybe if we actually attempted to address the issue something could be done.

“Over the past decade, rates of homicides and suicides from firearms in US youth, especially those 15 to 24 years of age, have increased by 14% and 39%, respectively.”

Those poor little innocent children, 18 to 24 years old, including this is a travesty. We must do something let’s pass some more laws. The ones we have now just are not enough.

I don’t know about you, but when I grew up, I was told I was adult when I was 18. I like the way we move the bar.

You are proving my point.

You are proving my point.
Sadly, you don’t have a point. You continue to believe that more laws will help they won’t. And the fact that you don’t think them including 18 to 24 year olds as “children” Is skewing the statistics, is laughable.

You’re simply asking all the wrong questions question is why do people want to kill their-self? Find out this problem and I guarantee you deaths go down substantially.
Or maybe we could just pass a law, outlawing suicide and homicide…..

Once again you are doubling down in proving my point.

Who decides who isn't mentally stable?

As science and medicine has been bribed and corrupted towards a left leaning ideology, this is intellectually problematic.

Anyone who doesn't swallow the entire left-wing narrative would be considered mentally unstable.

As a Catch-22, it would also cheerfully be argued that any ordinary citizen who would want a gun is sufficient evidence of being mentally unstable.
