My delivery route is 90% NO DR, anyone approaching the car for a pickup better come heavy, must show me a valid DL, and I have to feel comfortable giving it to them, or no package. In my delivery area, Thursday is free ammo day.

Nobody gets a package unless I'm 100% certain & comfortable with who they are. A gang speaking Spanish standing outside a door I have to deliver to? Nope, not gonna do it, and I've never been given a second's grief about it.

I always turn down requests from my OMS to meet customers on road.

I have an airbox on route. Pick up is 1600. If someone wants to meet me, that's where we meet. I also tell the OMS that 1601 is too late and to let the customer know.

I would guess I meet 1 customer a month or so.......
