Smalls n everything else!
A supervisor failed to Id them self when asked for their name. They had no id badge either. They were moving cardboard so I'm going to file in addition to the Id too. What article is failure to Id? In central, I can't find it for the life of me. If there is a m.o.u please note too. Thanks!

BA's have to make the best use of their time.

Maximize the time, for best exposure. (if they are smart, and want to get re-elected)

Plus, they have other company's they represent.... not just UPS.

Ask them the next time you see them.

That can depend on how big your Local is, And what other responsibilities they have.

Are you sure ?

I find that hard to believe.

There are Locals, that can cover an entire State or more.

Sometimes, it comes down to a frugal and judicious use.... of a limited financial resource.

* Haven't we seen members, that complain about driving 100's of miles to attend a meeting ? *

Our members complain about driving 20 miles for a meeting. Our local has multiple halls and multiple meetings per month.

My Local's bylaws state, we must have a quorum.... to conduct a monthly meeting.

I can recall, when that was not met. (we are talking 15 people)

The officer's and agents (10) are included.. plus 2, "Sgt. at arms".

The last two contract proposal meetings, had about 25 UPS members show up.

This is out of approximately 2800 UPS members.

15.... were Union Stewards.

In a attempt to get this thread back on track.... the language is clear, on management ID.

Management people that scoff at that.... would be given the opportunity to seek other employment.

This comes as somewhat of shock to me, all things considered.
I would think that Toledo UPSer's would be more involved?

The members feel that the stewards should do all their thinking for them.

Many contract books never get opened by rank and file.

I will admit that the only time I reach for my contract book is when I need to.

This may explain all of the dust.

This could also explain the dust.
