I love to see my stocks go up while redneck Republicans sit on there money and keep hoping the country goes down the toilet. Hate to break it to you but my hero Obama has turned this economy around with no help from you.
I remember just 6 mths ago, when they all wanted Chrsyler and GM to go belly up, and give no bailouts, and leave apprx. 30.000 people jobless (with all suppliers, dealers, etc).
Yet, still bitching he hasn't done anything to create jobs.
What a big mistake it would have been to let the Auto Industry falter. But, luckily, not enough rednecks in Washington.
Your right, they should have bought thier shares instead.

Please use a little common sense. The stock market is up --because companies have reduced jobs, cut cost --laid off people --they have "shrunk" to the poor economy ---You do not have to have a degree in economics to figure that out ----just look around you at UPS --see any changes ?? It must be nice to see all the imaginary new drivers UPS is hiring. Also hold on --breaking news ---wait until UPS calculates the increased cost of Obama care --???? More cuts to come --either more people or benefits !!

number two liberal excuse- Obama was hidden in a cave and was not part of the washington leadership group when the market crashed. ( indirect reference here)
number three liberal excuse - yea the economy sucks but the world would have come to a catastrophic end if Obama had not spent trillions of dollars ( most of which is committed but not spent) on worthless pork and bloated socialistic spending bills that accomplish nothing. ( direct reference here)
Overall unionman an excellent post that will make your liberal puppet master very happy.
can I suggest you go for some bonus points and tell everyone that Obama in his year is the greatest leader the world has ever seen?

This redneck definitely had a rough year in 2009 compared to 2008. 2010 is looking even worse. Will be very lucky to get 40K in capital gains this year. Hate to break this to you, but the fed is the one hosting this party. As obama's policies slow the growth of the economy, the longer this party will last. Metaphorically speaking, the fed is medicating the economy from obama. When they pull away the punch bowl (raise rates) other asset classes look more appealing. Thus some money will be shifted out of the market. You may want to think about trimming some of your positions. Buy on weakness sell on strength. Much easier making money from S&P 666 than 1175.
