Moving On up

I started as a package sorter an I have been at it for about a year. My question is that with the economy and being in a good compamy if anybody knows the ways to move up the ladder and what I could get a degree in to help me maybe get a full-time job at UPS.

If you`re thinking hourly then you`re going to have to put in the time. if you`re talking management then you`ll have to put in a letter of intent and start trying to impress those that make the choices.

A Business Degree is good to have, however, I would advise you to get a degree in an area that you are actually interested in. For hourly positions, you are going to have to wait your turn, but as far as management, there will be NO full-time promotions in the near future (1 or 2 years).
