I could think of things I never thunk before.
And then I'd sit, and think some more.
I would not be just a nothin' my head all full of stuffin'
My heart all full of pain.
I would dance and be merry, life would be a ding-a-derry,
If I only had a brain.

They still taught about these when I was in High School electronics...

Anytime your car radio quit working back in the 60's all you had to do was go to the local tv/radio repairman and get a new OZ4 tube. Nine times out of 10 that was the problem. Cost about $1.00 back then. Now days you may as well buy a new vehical if the factory radio quits (or dig out your Crutchfield catalog and fork over hundreds of bucks.)

DS you bring up such an excellent observation.
The fewer older than me by 15 to 25 year old people I know to this day also dress
very well before they go into public.
Look at every older photo:
September 30th, 1936—"a man hands a program to baseball legend Babe Ruth, center, as he is joined by
his second wife Clare, center left, and singer Kate Smith, front left, in the grandstand during
Game 1 of the 1936 World Series at the Polo Grounds in New York.

Funny, not funny ha ha but just funny.
I remember dressing up for church and the first time I flew in an airplane.
What happened to wearing your Sunday Best?

Now ...
My Sunday Best is an "ON the Field" Drew Brees Jersey or my throwback Brett Farve Jersey.

That photo from DS of Canada and the World Series from the 30's tells how times have changed.

Seems most everybody dressed up for sporting events back in day.

Now take a look at a the upcoming World Series crowd.

Not one suit to be found I would believe, including me if I went, unless someone brings
their 80 year old father to the game. :sad-little:

I agree.

DS has some Corey Hart kind of sexy happening in the shot.

Below added for Meno to review and compare.
