Who cares what the proposals were, it is what is agreed to is what matters to me. Ups does this part of the negotiations better than the IBT. You never get what you want if that is where you start at.

I put pretty much no confidence in this report, but I do hope that anything like it would get pretty much 100% of the union on-board with a strike.

Ups Has Proposed To Union To Cap Part-time Wages At Top Rate Of 16.50hr Including Air Drivers. Apparently This Might Not Affect Part-timers Already Working Or Out Of Progression. Also, A Christmas Bonus Of $5,000 One Time Payout Along With No Other Wage Increases For Next Six Years During The Life Of New Contract For All Hourly Employees Full-time And Part-time.
If I were the union, I would propose a $50 per hour raise.
