Yes, the Mercedes 4 cylinder diesel. Mine had almost 400k on it and was tired. The new gas V-8 leaves it in the dust. I wish it were a 7 and not a 63, but I can live with that.

400k is right about the point where 904s throw a rod.

My 904 got replaced at about 325K miles. I've had four 5-speed Allisons go out in my 2006 P-700. I love the body-style, it turns on a dime. I wish I had a gas engine in mine though.

I have one in my fleet that is closing in on that... runs fine now but my luck it will probably blow up in the middle of peak.

They run great until they suddenly go bang. They want you to replace them before we lose core value.

I one chuck a rod right after an LOF at 200k and peak. 3 12 hour days to get it all done.

Order up and make an open repair. Just don't forget that galley plug they always leave out.
