Then what you want is a flat tax. I would totally go for that, much better than the nonsense we have now.

We have what we have now. Any overtime is taxable income. Put all you can into a 401k if you are looking to avoid taxes.

I’ve maxed out my 401(k) for over a decade. It’s still not enough to avoid extreme taxes and quite possibly. I will pay more taxes later when I go to take this money out.
