You're advocating Socialism, which compensates the worker based solely on the criteria of need, and that need is defined by those Socialists in power. Therefore, the burger flipper would be compensated equally to the CEO if their need was denoted as equal.
Because of human nature, this results in a race to the bottom, which makes the world a worse place for everyone.

Having the Tax payers pay for billion dollar corporations employees in the form of welfare is also Socialism. Maybe you open your eyes and realize corporations are making insane amounts of profits. They don't need the average American paying their employees.

If a person wants to make a better living, maybe he needs to take the necessary steps for that to happen. How bout getting a High School Diploma. How bout technical classes. How bout any kind of training that will increase his income.
