That's a huge stretch and you know it. Healthcare in the U.S. was privatized, and the best in the world, albeit expensive. Liberals want to force the best healthcare be shared with those who can't afford it. In the end it will bring down the quality of the healthcare for everyone after taking the profit motive out of it. Companies don't spring up to develop life saving medicines or new machines that'll extend life if all they're going to do is break even. The best and brightest won't go to med school to just break even in life. Take the profit motive out and you'll get fewer doctors, fewer options.

BS. India is full of Doctors. There will never be a shortage of Doctors. You're only right in that American medicine is only here to make money. To hell with the patient who can't afford to pay. Sad when Americans have to travel to other countries to get serious medical care without going bankrupt. But in a way thats good because that option is there. It's cheaper to drive to Canada to stock up on Meds than relying on the greed that is American medicine. Buying a 600.00 RT ticket to another country and buying 200.00 worth of meds, that will easily last 12 months vs paying 2000.00 for the same meds in American says a lot about the greed. 3 P's.....Profit Profit Profit, right?

Questioned the ethics of leaving those countries shorthanded while wealthy nations benefit. It's not as cut and dried as you think and again raises the question of why countries with socialized medicine end up with a shortage of medical workers?
