What's the threat to children relative to the flu?

The vaccine was never thought to be 100%, but along with hand washing and wearing mask and social distancing a person should be fairly safe. At least safe enough to go about normal everyday living. Which is what President Biden has done. Compared with the national shut down and millions thrown out of work last year.

I'm vaccinated. I don't wear a mask in the grocery store because I feel it actually makes me more safe in any way. I personally don't wear a mask at any time but try and maintain a social distance and limit my time in crowded places as much as I can. I also live in a more polite area of the country. Although the crazies did come out last Saturday night.
