So a single UPS driver that made $130,000 gross. Would receive a $8,500 deduction. Tax savings of around $1800-1900.

I would say that’s pretty substantial and anyone working enough hours in package car to make 130 K more than happily take the extra. Personally, I work very hard to not make that much anymore. That’s just too many hours.
