It honestly makes sense financially from a manager perspective. Even at 4x penalty pay, let's say it takes roughly 9 hours of quadruple pay to even cover the health n wellness contribution of the next would be employee. And if only half the guys are filing on every instance, company comes out way ahead.

Your business agent has to ask for an accelerated hearing. That doesn’t necessarily mean you will get quadruple pay, but they will have some decision to make and if it doesn’t work, they can come back and ask for it again.
