Colt did it to themselves. I've always loved their guns, but management and the way they've handled them is another story.

I hate to be “that” guy. But if I’m buying a new gun it’s gonna be a CZ. Pistol or rifle especially.

I've got a Colt 22 Limited Edition John Wayne pistol I won in a drawing probably 35-40 years ago (maybe longer). It came in a neat cherrywood display case. Its never been fired. Years ago I was told it was worth $600 - I don't have a clue what it is worth now. Any guesses out there? It cost me 5 dollars for a raffle ticket. That was a spendy raffle ticket back then. I must have been really drunk to buy it because I always made it a point to not buy tickets that cost over a buck back then.

For a while they were putting out so many of the commemorative guns they lost most of their collector value.

The old a5’s I love. The new ones I’ve never had much experience with. What was their other humpback?? Like an a2000 or something? I don’t care for those at all

I'm not sure but they were all descendants of the long recoil A5 design.

I used to be big into shotguns now it’s just kinda meh. I’d rather have an old rifle or pistol
