I'm sorry but you assume that ups is a professionally run company. It is not. HR is probably the worst. Always has been.

Question is if one was hired off the street for a full time DSP and was scheduled to go to intergrad a two weeks out and was given permission to work local sort so one could get hours which would be part time position granted still given the 18.75 rate or at least what he was told he was going to be pair per hour. then went to intergrad without any driving experience and made it to thursday and failed the driving test due to score of 70 which 85 is passing... sorry for it being so long winded but kind of complicated to explain... so failed the driving and then was escorted out of intergrad, sent to hotel by way of shuttle and told have about an hour to check out of hotel... one then travels back to his or her center which was in a different state, and finds out seeming he or she was off the street hire that they can no longer be employed due to the fact of failing intergrad granted this person was granted permission to work local sort prior to intergrad yet when returns they no longer want to employ them now if a part time preload or local sort employee was given that oppurtunity and he or she fail they just go back rightfully into the previous position if i am correct. so what grounds does an off the street hire have to try and keep at least the local sort position that was avail. before intergrad and is still vacant position and even the supervisor or the local sort has asked to hire he or she... now this person is being told that since terminated from intergrad he or she can not be re hired as a part time yet one could work part time before but now cant im so confused by this process honestly i feel like this cant be done seeming i worked local sort week before and recieved pay for it then went to intergrad which almost would put me in the part time to full time scenario
yet im being different treatment does this make sence?
I skimmed through it. A permanent part timer is in the union and therefore by contract goes back to their old job. It’s sounds like you weren’t a permanent part timer in union. No protection and no contact obligation

look you dont know how much effort i put into it ... so keep your child like low life misory of a person comments to one self please.. Its a dang shame ups has people like yourself as an employee probably that can be human enough to read and show empthy instead wanting to be a hatefuly person that this world has so many people like you its scarry i feel sorry for you mother and father for they have to be ashamed of such a person they raised and just shows you what kind of "so called brotherhood" brother you are ... i tried and shure i couldnt pass the driving test heck i had only start a bow truck for the fourth time that day total mind you and im trying to ramble off the comentary which a seasoned driver couldnt do as well either yet you judge like your some GOD heres my first impression of you dude your the guy that picked on kids in school maybe even worse still do which havent you watch whats going on in our nation with kids and schools and you still have the ability to not give a lick about a person that was attempting to better his familys future and make an honest living like you do i assume it is sad what kind of person you are...really saddens me ...thanks for your bullying comments man..

i was the 6 in 1 but since class was two weeks out i was allowed to work local sort/car wash for that week i was waiting to go to intergrad which i got told i was getting driver wages which i didn't but that another issue. which the Sup. ask a fulltime Sup if something happened at intergrad forbid that but wanted to be able to pull me on his crew. expressed it to full time sups. they agreed but ultimately it falls under union rules or HR desk.. I dunno cause i get back from intergrad and let my sup. know plus HR lady know and asked where do we go from here, mnd you i got the local sort/car wash sup asking if im coming to work that night and i asked both HR lady and full time sups and there reply was I dunno we have to check on that ... few days go by.... still no word so i call HR lady and basically get told that union rules don't allow a terminated package car driver the ability to be hired part time which brings us to what happens when a pre load guy or car was part timer has waited his turn and gets the green light on dsp but he or she fails or does not make it through first 30 days... from what i've researched they go back to previous position...if im wrong correct me please but seeming im off the street hire then i didn't have a position i was told but ding ding ding the HR lady didn't know that i worked 6 working days prior to go to intergrad with the local sort/car wash that where the sups what to hire me but know can do anything about it even though hes down a person.....then i see a add online for multiple positions. i click on apply and there we have it im back scheduled for an interview again ...... i show up 2nd on list(thirty mins early) sign in and do the group about and what positions are avail.. we have pre load sup and a pre load avail plus she added that in month a local sort/car wash was coming up granted im think well maybe her and him the car was sup havent talked or whatever... so then get the one on one time and basically told me that she wasnt sure yet but would let me know my rehire status... im blow away but very respectful and understanding.. so she said she call in few day day four i called her she then said man i talked with another hr and we have never seen this happen and is new to us but we cant hire you on part time position even though u worked it the week before going to driving school....ill call you soon as i know different that was two days ago......
No where in all that did you answer the question
