One occasion or two?

I called off for the first time in over a year last Friday, I've had a summer cold and it's Tuesday now but I still feel sick. Is it still one occasion if I call off today?
Considering there's been a weekend and Labor Day between?

I'm in the southwest
I'd ask someone at work but the only number I have is my sups and I'm not about to ask him for advice

Jeeze I did 115 stops and 220 miles sick as a dog last Friday. I like to save sick time for me time lol
