No, mature adults see the value of having a body that provides peacekeeping forces, famine relief, rural development, etc, etc, etc in much of the world.
Yes, real conservatives love global government.

And Sam Houston wanted to lose all independence to a behemoth federal government, which itself is subject to that global body.

Real Texans Love Big Brother.

I submit.

Considering that he and fellow Texans voted to join the U.S., which by the way at the time was anything but a behemoth, and many Texans have died defending our country, I'd say you don't have a clue. Your problem is you're so full of yourself that you think you can do everything better. And in case you haven't noticed the U.N. doesn't run us and if it weren't for our money it would most likely collapse.

He joined the US, while reserving the right to leave and govern itself under its own terms, any time it didn't like it. And he would support doing so.

The UN absolutely does run us, not the other way around.

Ford's deal was a loan, so that they could claim they didn't go bankrupts. And the 'loan' hasn't been paid back for 13 years.

Just call it what it is: it was a bailout of a would-be bankrupt company.
I don't have a mortgage.
This wasn't a general business loan. It was disguised as one, when it was really a gift to stay in business.
What's it like to be rich?

Except the Texas state constitution doesn't allow it to leave any time they like. Can break up into multiple states, but not secede.

And the U.N. running us is another fantasy conspiracy theory. If the U.S. withdrew its financial support the U.N. would collapse. WE wanted the U.N., it wasn't forced on us and isn't running us. It has its issues, but the big problem with some Americans is they can't stand the idea of debate and discussion and deliberation. They want to snap fingers and have others jump. Be boss. And if they don't get their way on any issue they want to flush it away.

Lol. The US can't get rid of the UN, but it's not because the U.N. runs the US. Have you happened to catch the little pandemic treaty that gives the WHO supreme authority over everything during a pandemic? Continuing to call things conspiracy theories, when the evidence is so clear and in your face, requires an absurd level of denial.

The WHO has supreme authority? It's surprising they didn't send in the troops to quell the revolts in Florida, South Dakota, and Sweden! I only call things conspiracy theories when fear mongers run wild with tales of death camps and such. The WHO doesn't run us. Neither does the U.N. Nor do Zionists pull strings behind the scenes to control everything. The closest thing we have to that is a billionaire nut job throwing a lot of money around to support liberal causes. And I'm not talking about Elon Musk.

That's exactly what the Texas constitution says.

Most people who want out of the UN want to meddle LESS in international affairs.

We should be Giant Switzerland.

Proposed? I thought we were/are being run by them already? And isn't it the U.S. that's doing the proposing?
Yes, the globalists in the US are proposing it to the UN, so we will be bound by treaty to do it.

They're getting it done that way because they can't get it done in Congress with actual law-making. So, they submit proposals to the UN to get it done through global governance, bypassing the people.

Globalists in the United States are proposing it to the UN because they can't pass it here, and we are subject to what the UN dictates.

It's their way around US law and processes.
Well I kind of figured you knew lol, we can’t continue to call it conspiracy when it’s written down on paper I didn’t make it up I’m just showing you what they’re doing. I can’t for the life of me even wonder why they would want to propose it if they didn’t want to do it.
How would this be a good thing for us the citizens of the United States?

Do you have any idea how many treaties the U.S. has entered into that they no longer honor? Fear mongering, pure and simple. I've been hearing this stuff for 50 years. Very little of it ever comes true. Very little.

But we honor the one with the UN. That's the point.

They're getting it done through global governance because they can't get it done in Congress.
