Interesting fact about the CyberTruck.
The glue used to do a body wrap on the stainless steel body destroys it.
Tesla knew about this problem, since they quietly ended their own option of wrapping the body earlier.

This week the Massachusetts Department of Environmental Protection announced a delay of the Advanced Clean Trucks (ACT) regulations to require manufacturers to “produce” and sell zero-emission trucks.

Question: Why did they delay the regulation?
Answer: Because truck sales had dropped by 99 percent.

According to Gov. Healey 's rule, dealers were allowed to sell both types of trucks, but in order to sell a gas fueled-vehicle they first had to unload an EV. Hence, sales dropped to almost ZERO, because no one wanted an electric truck. That’s one way to kill emissions.

While everyone is in favor of a clean environment, policies need to be written for the real world. EV trucks can only run for about four hours and there are no charging stations for them. Maybe Gov. Healey should have done her homework on these basic facts before implementing a regulation written in fantasy land.

Massachusetts political leaders are insane

Jeff Bezos' answer to a cheap EV truck.

Slate said its EV pickup, a bare-bones truck with a footprint smaller than a Ford Maverick, will cost somewhere in the mid-$20K range, and it will come in any color you want — as long as it’s slate gray, that is.
The option-challenged vehicle offers a choice of two battery sizes for the rear-wheel-drive truck: a 52.7-kWh battery pack targeting 150 miles of range and an 84.3-kWh pack with 240 miles of range.

Useless as a truck. Glorified go-kart.
