Anyone here know the "world record" of age for a package car driver? I don't know any drivers over the age of 53 in my center. Anyone know of someone driving package in their 60's, or god forbid their 70's:ohmy:?

Started work in 1973 at 26, now 60, I can still go as well as the younger guys. I've worked over 2100 hours this year. My route is rural, 80ish stops, 220ish miles.

I worked 2 peaks, 2nd one as a driver. Off the street hire at age 27. Age 40 now. First couple months were the hardest.
Before UPS the heaviest thing I had ever lifted was my 2 year old.
I'll retire at anything over 25 years depending on the pension age restrictions.

Started in 1971 at age 22. Am now 58. 36 yrs. this month. Run rural runs for all 36. Still in decent shape physically but mentally ready for a change. This contract will be my last good or bad.
