Part time vacation pay

I've worked preload for about 3 years and I finally decided to use my vacation this year rather than wait until the end of the year and get paid for the hours all at once.
However, I'm 2 weeks into my vacation and I have not gotten paid for being off work. I went to human resources this morning and the lady told me I would have to talk to my supervisor but she was also very rude about it. When I asked about the phone number to hr I made a joke "because nobody seems to know it" and she literally replied "that's because we don't do anything here" in a very impatient tone.

Now if hr doesn't do anything why does she have a job? Should I go in there and raise my voice and demand her manager to get help or does hr literally not handle payroll?

Also, when you guys take vacation how do you usually get paid for it? Thanks for any help

You get paid for you vacation two weeks ahead of time.

And make sure he/she/it filled out the proper forms for you.

No. I have to grieve it every time. Talk to your steward if you didn't get paid yet.

Working during vacations .
I recall back in my youth of doing that . Was working Midnight -3Am , I couldn't sleep so I just showed up one night, nobody said anything .
Back then your time card was a stone tablet .
