I was in Lowes on Labor Day weekend - yes, I said Labor Day weekend - and they were already putting the Christmas crap on the racks next to the Halloween garbage.

It’s gotten way waaay beyond ridiculous now.

Gross.

I think it's very disrespectful to start decorating for Christmas before Remembrance Day.

Early wake up on Thanksgiving. Mom starts the Turkey. Rival High School Football game from the next town over kicks off at 10 AM. Parents & Grandparents watching. Walk home at halftime to check on the bird. Get home around 2. Sit down for dinner around 4:30.
All that is cancelled now because it's deemed an inconvenience to families who would otherwise want to spend the day traveling. And all the poo that follows with Black Friday, small business Saturday, & Cyber Monday.
