I fought that fight before, but it isn’t really my battle. These guys are adults if they want to be morons I let them do it. It’s the responsibility of management. to get them out of their trucks. I’m sure to remind them of that every time they complain about how much work they’ve got. It goes in one ear and out the other with these guys.
They will either have an injury, a crash, or will not make it to retirement without being crippled.

Don’t fear too much it’s really a small group of guys to do that. A lot of the drivers start to figure things out eventually.. there’s always about 10 that stay Dense no matter what.
I’m dumping my leftover stops and driving back regardless. The poor runner hates me when the weather changes. It stinks but it’s realityThey think it helps get them done earlier

I agree. I have a hard time believing that the spirit of the language was to knowingly have a staffing issue and ignore it and just let the drivers violate 9.5 and pay the grievances indefinitely. But here we are.

Shoulder is a bad idea, although I would question how drivers are supposed to get those mattresses up three flights of stairs to floor 3 apartments? Really not possible to use a cart.
