Mechanics who leave parts and trash in the cab. Mechanics that dont sign off their work. Drivers who warm up their truck for 15 minutes before they clock in and its only 50 outside. People who try to wave you down on the interstate to give you an ARS.

Confucius say:
Never piss off the UPS driver if you want your delivery on time:wink2: I could never understand why some people couldn't understand that simple concept.

In the airline, it's people that treat every finding as a mechanic would on a GA (General Aviation) airplane, which is "if you find it, you gotta' fix it". Large commercial jets are designed that certain anomalies can be left unrepaired for a period of time.
The problem these days is everyone wants the manufacturer to say it's acceptable. Experience and good judgement do not matter anymore. It is so bereaucratic anymore, it's a miracle that any airplane flys at all.
(For those that don't know, I'm talking about the really little things, like scratches or minor dents aft of the wing).

Glad to see that no one has been peeved since Nov. 26, 2009.
Well, I've been! Here's one, people who walk their dogs without a leash. the dogs end up walking all over your yard and flower bed. Maybe I should go walk on their just seeded lawn and flowers?

My biggest pet peeve is people who talk the whole shift and it affects their work. Dont get me wrong I like my coworkers and like to talk to help lighten the mood just like anybody else. The people who bother me are the ones who make talking a priority over their work. People who will slack off and have others pick up the slack so they can stand by their buddy and talk. They will abandon their work station and make the job harder for both people. There is a time and place to socialize and you gotta have some effing limits. I am sick of it because I always seem to be the one picking up the slack. I chat with people while inbetween trailers and when they are convienently within range of a conversation, or when the flow dies down, but I dont make it a point to abandon my spot to talk while my work piles up behind me. Thats my biggest pet peeve.

People that don't give me the courtesy of a 3' buffer, as I ride my bike (with traffic), to and from work. If I rode at 18-25 miles per hour on the sidewalk, someone would die.

It's called a "road bike" for a reason!

People that honk at me as I'm riding my bike along with traffic.

Well, one of MY biggest pet peeves is bicycle riders who don't follow traffic rules. In my state they are to follow the rules of the road the same as motor vehicles. I see them ride between cars between lanes, never stop at lights or stop signs, weave in and out of traffic, turn left in front of a line of cars on a red light. As far as I'm concerned they are a hazard.

Head down, Feet pedaling, means don't bother me, just ease over and pass by.

The law, at least here in Florida, states that I am allowed to ride along with traffic, as I am a vehicle. http://tampabaycycle.blogspot.com/2007/08/3-foot-law.html

Sorry, but one of my pet peeves is people that don't understand/obey bicycle laws, as I'm a bike commuter.

All the rest of my pet peeves have pretty much been covered in this thread. Oh wait, here's a couple.

People that let their dogs go poo and pee in their yards, and then let the kids go out and play in the same yard.

People that are on welfare or live in low income housing, yet drive fancy cars, with fancy rims and all of the stereo equipment, ta boot.

People that have crappy cars, with nice rims and tires.

People that let their children walk barefoot, wherever they go, IE the supermarket, public restrooms, etc...

_Spotting dog poop on the way to porch and forgetting about it on the way back to the truck.
_C.O.D. customers who never have the funds til day 3.
_businesses that have no dock and get 20-30 pkgs per day.
_residential street parkers who don't stagger their vehicles.
_traffic lights that last 12 seconds and you're 4th in line.
_lonely people who order s*it, so they have someone to talk to.
_ people who live in a 500sq ft house, get deliveries 3 times a week, no good DR location and it takes them 4 minutes to answer door after blaring horn upon arrival, (usually happens when you have 10 stops to do in 10 min, before p/u's).
_Do I really have to wait for you to finish your personal phone conversation before you acknowledge me?
