Hi friends, I just had an idea that it would be nice if you would go to youtube.com and check for your favorite holiday song. If you find it, please post to the discussion board so we might be able to listen to some of our favorite music.

I just found this version of O Holy Night that I really like.

Here are directions:

1: Goto www.youtube.com

2: Enter your search: "Oh Holy Night"

3: Click on your choice of song and watch video

4: If you really like it...

5: Cut and paste it directly into the message here on BC

6: Post and enjoy :)

I love O Holy Night, and I hear the Josh Groban version often on the radio.
But I love Martina Mcbrides rendition more. Found part of it on Youtube, but the full versions were live, and I like the studio version more.

Great idea for a thread.

this is definitely one of my favorites one of the prettiest songs I think I have ever heard. Christmas canon rock by transiberian Orchestra.

Ahh...another version of Pachelbel's Canon.
This is what my daughter had played at her wedding rather than "Here comes the bride". A very nice song and this version is very good.
Thanks ... brings back fond memories.

Listen to the words and feel the emotion...this is xmas.

Feeling emotion.
Sometimes an overwhelming raw sadness.
We all will experience that "first xmas" without a loved one.
Sometimes an overwhelming happiness.
That "first xmas" with new love.

We are all unique.
Yet we all share two experiences...life and death.

And at Xmas we remember those that we have lost and tightly embrace the ones we love.

Don't tell me that this can't be a Xmas song.

O beautiful for patriot dream
That sees beyond the years
Thine alabaster cities gleam
Undimmed by human tears!
America! America!
God shed his grace on thee
And crown thy good with brotherhood
From sea to shining sea!

Great thread. Glad to see it back, let's make sure someone bumps it every Christmas!
Over - here you go!!
I am bumping this thread.
Most of the links are dead.

And this is me four years ago.
My first Christmas without my Daddy.
