The more I hear about it, audio recordings of past encounters with civilians, the guy seems to have had a serious problem dealing with the stress of the job that was overlooked by his coworkers and superiors.
This will be an an interesting trial no doubt. But I wouldn't be the least bit surprised to see him get away the killing. People don't like to face the reality that police officers are human beings.
