In fact a majority of the country lives within 100 miles of a border.
Most people are not even aware of this fact.

I grew up in an era if you disrespected an officer, you knew you would be crawling home with your teeth in a pocket or the sweet taste of gun oil all the way down your throat.
The word always made it to your parents house before you did, so you knew more punishment was coming.
We had a lot less crime.
And lived in a quite peaceful town.
