President Biden

So President Trump should have listened to the scientists from the very beginning when they said not to restrict travel, not to wear masks, and that this was just a virus 'akin to the flu'....

Brilliant buddy, brilliant.

They changed their stories so many times, but it's all Trump's fault. Interesting how the states that took the least action have had the best results. But we definitely needed a coordinated national effort. Can you imagine the bureaucracy that would be needed to coordinate a nation wide response for an airborne viral pandemic? If a Democrat were in office, all he would have heard about it would maybe have been a slight uptick in pneumonia deaths this year, a story buried on the 6th page of the science section of the New York Times.

So tell me . Just exactly what level of formal medical education do you offer up to support your claim that none of the 247,000 lives lost could have been saved?
Same place as you!

In case you are not aware ... no one on here, other than yourself, thinks you are smart.

That would take leadership at the highest level which we never had.
I'm sorry your governor is a stupid leader.

My Governor, here in Georgia, managed things very, very well which is evidenced by the large number of DimWit LibTurds that disparaged him. Other than people social distancing and wearing masks, it seems pretty normal around here.

Fast with the vaccine but way too slow to respond to the outbreak. Not enough chlorine IV injections or UV light suppositories available. But then again COVID was supposed to be gone in a week. Don't look at me. This was what your great president was telling us.

His handling of COVID was similar to a supermarket tabloid. "If you believe it ,we'll print it.
Um his actions were lightning fast and do not match your fairy tale

Trump freely admitted to Bob Woodward and stated for the record that he was fully briefed on how bad COVID was going to get right from the outset but didn't want to alarm them when alarming and preparing them for what was to come was exactly the thing he needed to do.

That's right. His quick and bold actions were responsible for the virus having disappeared in a week. (lol). Well, since you hang on to and believe every word he says then the 11 million confirmed COVID cases and the 247,000 confirmed COVID deaths was all fake news. After all in your mind's eye if Fox News the GOP's information clearing house says that it was fake news then by God it is most definitely fake news.

Oh so now you're saying President Trump should have ignored our scientists, and instead listened to the brutal authoritarian dictator of communist China.

Brilliant buddy, brilliant.

you trying to take something that's been screwed up by every political leader we have and pinpoint it on one person your argument doesn't hold water.
The other side of that is you can't disparage Trump's efforts without disparaging all of the thousands and thousands of people have been working hard to fight this.
So to make your argument you have to separate Trump from pelosi from Schumer and from all the liberal mayors that didn't react properly and then you have to separate Trump from all the people working as part of his team that have been working hard to fight this virus Good luck with that argument

Running to the defense of Trump again I see. Unfortunately, the placard on Harry Truman's desk said it all...."The Buck Stops Here". And it's no different with Trump. Establishing a coordinated national response was job one. Not this impossible 50 state response with 50 different sets rules and protocols. Before work could begin on a vaccine stopping the spread of the disease was the foremost task as part of the job one response. And leaving it up to the governors was an abysmal failure.

A bit of good news I'm sure you'll be happy to hear. You bet. After all of his lead attorney's have quit on Trump Rudy Guiliani has invited himself to Pennsylvania to argue in behalf of Trump's Pa. lawsuit.

Unfortunately, there is just one little itsy, bitsy problem. Rudy Guiliani is not licensed to practice law in Pennsylvania. (lmao) But, that's something that shouldn't matter. After all you're taking about Rudy Guiliani here. The law doesn't apply to him.

You seem to forget that such matters fall on the States and not the Federal government. Until you get the authoritarian government you seek it will still play out the way it did every time. The Federal government is there to assist, not run, the local response. And pretty much all the liberal governors are on record praising Trump for coming through with their requests. The problem isn't Trump, it's all those using the crisis to attack him. You really have no shame.

the buck does not stop here unless Trump is the mayor of new york city, the governor of new york , the governor of california. Trump does not have the constitutional powers to force any change at that level. His role is to support thier efforts.

considering the fact that 8 of 15 military medical hospitals never saw a single patient and the fact that everyone received the respirators and medical ppe they needed. Considering the fact that we lead the world in testing and treatment its clear he did a damn good job.

what you cant dispute is he did lead an effort that developed a vaccine 5 times faster then anyone in history. That alone is incredible leadership and your spin can not remove that incredible accomplishment.

And a lot of good it's going to do for the 247,000 people who died at the hands of COVID many of whom whose lives might have been saved by means of a coordinated federal response. Furthermore we're about to enter what is widely believed by qualified individuals to be the worst phase of the pandemic while wide spread distribution of a vaccine is still months away.

If the governors of the southern states were not so slow to finally act and act with resolve chances are we may not find ourselves still battling an out of control virus.

The shameful part is to hide from the public the proven lethality of a disease that has infected 11 million people and taken the lives of 247,000 Americans with no end in sight. Leaving COVID 19 up to the governors is tantamount to Roosevelt leaving Pearl harbor and the Nazi's up to the states to figure out.
Your Dear Leader plainly stated publicly that he takes NO responsibility for the COVID pandemic. Well. two weeks ago the American people showed him what they thought about that.

Oh, that's the guy who was one of the main speakers at the 1948 DEMOCRATIC National Convention was out on the campaign trail with Harry Truman and fought bitterly against the passage of the Medicare Bill.

Do you mean states like South Dakota and North Dakota whose governors ignored safety directives and whose states now rank 1 and 2 in terms of positive cases per capita with 60 % of South Dakota's residents testing positive with hospitals so over whelmed that they have to fly COVID patients to out of state hospitals.?

Remember what S.D. governor Christi Noem said. "My people are happy because they're free". I wonder how happy her people are who are currently on a ventilator fighting for their lives?

No use trying to explain that to LibTurds ... they seem to be mentally deficient in understanding a serial Federal form of government.
I've come to the conclusion that LibTurds actually are missing some genes that affect the brain's cognitive abilities.
