trump got 46% of the vote in both elections. Since 2000, only McCain received a lower percentage of the vote. John Kerry, Al Gore, and Hiliary Clinton all received 48% of the vote. GWBush and Romney got 47%. GWBush also got 50% of the vote. Obama got 53% and both he and Biden got 51% of the vote. Trump is behind them all in percentage of the vote.
trump's main opponents beat him by 2.9million votes in 2016 and over 7million votes in 2020. So in two elections 54% of American voters didn't vote for trump. In the two elections combined, 10million more Americans voted for trump's main opponent than voted for trump. trump was an unpopular, incredibly weak, hateful, corrupt one term president that's how he'll look in the history books.

But what's interesting is where the republican party is headed. I think the republican party is a post policy political party at least at the national level. I occasionally listen to national elected republicans speak and it is always fake culture war bs over face book, or wearing masks or now fake voter fraud bs or accusing someone of being anti American, or for socialism, and its the same bs over and over.

All republicans have is phony culture war stuff. Don’t like how trump is handling the coronavirus and all the Americans dying, while make coronavirus a culture war over wearing masks and social distancing and bailing out blue states and then for republicans 300000 Americans dying from coronavirus becomes irrelevant. Sadly this is all republicans have left. The Republican Party nationally is a post policy party. Listen to republicans talk it is all bs stuff about cancel culture or pretending Facebook and Twitter are banning free speech. Nothing to actually improve anyone’s life. pathetic.

The last few posts are a fantastic example of how republicans are a post policy party. It’s all phony culture war bs like transgender soldiers taking over the military that’s what conservatives want to discuss. friend improving life in America, why Biden’s going to make the whole military transgendered cause of the radical left. Pathetic

In fairness, this is a great time for religious and cult leaders/storytellers of both ideological extremes to further enrich themselves by raking in the easy money from their respective suckers.
I think you are playing yourself with this both sides are radical phony baloney. It’s this kind fake both sides understanding of American politics that allows republicans to get more and more radical because rubes then pretend well the democrats must be just as radical. I’m not Democratic Party butt kisser that party has huge huge huge problems, but as a statement of fact they aren’t as radical as the Republican Party it’s not even close.

Democrats nominate Biden and Obama, their leaders are old rich white peooke like pelosi and Schumer, meanwhile Republican elected officials are pretending to believe that the last election was stolen from trump won’t say Biden won, and are actually ok with trump calling government officials to try to pressure them to overturn the results. Objectively that’s extremely radical. Like cats better wake up to reality. One side wants to steal an election outright and the other wants a public option for health care and to pay people’s college debt. Those two things are not the same.

When Karl Marx’s ideas are getting such a strong showing in this country, it’s only natural for other extremes to get more attention as well.

all mfers want to do is pretend. You are pretending that communism is on the rise in the Democratic Party to justify pretending both sides are equally as radical, but based on what? Joe Biden, Nancy Pelosi, and Chuck Schumer? Those are the political leaders of the Democratic Party in national politics. Democratic voters Picked Biden. democratic members of the house and the senate picked Pelosi and Schumer. Communists are not picking those three people to be their party’s leadership.
We have a ton of big cities with democratic mayors, over 20 states with democratic governors which ones are quoting Karl Marx talking about making the city or state a communist haven? The belief that democrats are embracing Marxism is devoid of quoting actual elected democrats, but trump with the silence or approval of republican elected officials is right now trying to steal an election he lost. seven million more Americans voted for Biden than voted for trump that’s not close. It doesn’t get any more radical than that.
