Progressives sweep Teamsters election − time to organize!

What is a "progressive" Teamster?

Now....this "successful" strike....

Not sure what that means.....

We still have lost volume from 1997 and led to the successful rise of Fed Ex ground. Continuing with Amazon. Post Office. etc.

Seeming to mean "success" cost Teamsters $thousands and jobs. It took 5 years to get feeder seniority here after that with lots of folks giving up and going back to package car.....

Now progressives.....are they the same communist/socialist/liberal Democrats that are burning and looting cities? And generally destroying America?
Lost vollume from 1997?
Hahaha
Give it up already!

Organize what you cant even get people show up to meetings lol.
Winner! Not too many union meetings I missed over the years. Could count on two hands the number of members who showed up for most of them outside of contract proposal meetings.

Won quite a few raffles and free :censored2: though since my odds were higher from the low turnout.

I've said all along that the union sucks. As a PVD I've been scolded until all I do is sit in the closet shivering in fear of the next hurled insult (not). It's OK when you folks call your beloved union out though huh? That weak.
I'm sure you understand that no Union Member here gives a rats ass about the opinion of a seasonal bottom feeder of our Union. Three weeks from today you will be gone, if you dont quit before then

I remember during the "97" proposals going to a Union meeting were we had over 350 members show up, they were handing from the rafters...:strikesmileys:

Only 20 members showed up with the 2018 proposal meeting and most of them were low
seniority part timers...Only two full time stewards, one a feeder and package. I turned in my handwritten proposals and everyone knew where those were heading (TRASH CAN).. I got my shot in by vocally calling the (2013) contract as
:bsbullf:.....

Little did we know what the 2018 contract was going to be: :grrr:

Most of the membership doesn't even believe in collective bargaining anymore. They are just out for themselves. They think that they would have the same pay, benefits and working conditions whether there was a union or not.

I’d kill to have same level of organization they did in 97. I’ll never understand the anti union guys who work at ups. Everything we have here is because of the union.

Absolutely true.

Give what up?

I was there. Here now. Experienced it.

A strike now will have devastating consequences.

Wife and I went to lunch today. Saw at least 4 Amazon trucks delivering. Not one UPS truck....think hard. I live in a town of 3000.....

Ignoring history..doomed to repeat it.

Ignoring reality? Obtuse doesn't begin to describe it.

The money for everything we get working here comes from the customers not the union nor UPS.

The union is the reason we get as big of share of that money as we do.
