Answer these questions then tell me that is a promotion:

1. How much is your medical insurance as a pt sup?
1b. How much would your insurance cost as a loader?
2. What is happening to your pension in managment?
2b. Who still has pensions as i am writing this?
3. How many times can you call out or be late before you are fired for good
3b. How many times can a loader get fired and get their job back?
4. Who is protected by a contract?
4b. Who is protected by a contract?
5. What is your earning potential as pt sup
5b. What is your earning potential as a driver which would subsequently come as a loader then repeat questions 1-4 again...

So i ask you again, do you really think that a pt sup is a promotion?

Every single PT Soup in my building wishes they were still hourly. We could come in half an hour late every day, call off every Friday, sit on the toilet for an hour while the operation is still going on...

How much of that can you get away with as a soup?

One of the loaders here told a PT soup to go **** himself. Got "fired" for about a week, grieved it, got his job back with retro pay. Cuss out your "superior", win a week's vacation. Can a PT soup do that?

I recently was bumped up to PT Supervisor and I have been in school working on my degree, but I am not interested in what I am doing.
If I quit school, would I get fired, since I am no longer union protected, or will I just get demoted?
Screw school, learn to backstab, make deals, and kiss arse of those above you. You will go far!
