Raj says...It's great business"

A short time ago Cramer had Raj as a guest on his show. Cramer waved in front of Raj this for sale Ground route in NYC for $913,000. Cramer asked Raj : "How can you trust these guys". Raj replied" It's a good business and we have very high contracting standards" In response Cramer said :'I'm going to buy this contract". If it was so good...why is it for sale? He'll soon find out.
Still comes back to the same old thing. Getting some guy to go out there everyday in good weather and bad and bust his feces chute for a hell of a lot less money. And if that contractor has to end up giving that guy everything the route makes and the truck still sits in the station because he can't get anybody.....then you have to wonder.....who in their right mind wants to be doing this? And in the end if it best serves the interest of the company....you're an employee. If it results in the divestiture of risk, liability and variable costs....you're a contractor. That much will never change.

These guys think they're astute and savvy businessmen . If they were you would think they would know that high standards and low pay have never gotten along.....Never. So what makes them think they can change that?

Had a business switch over to ground for a few days cause it was a way cheaper option. Guess who’s back with express after his :censored2: took days to arrive to a neighbouring city. This ain’t about cheap labours, cheap service, cheaper this cheaper that. A whole ish ton of business rely on urgent deliveries for the sake of their business. A day late can cost them thousands of dollars of revenue. Express will be fine

I can just hear it now when they've got Ground and Express drivers cohabitated in the same building.

Company talking to contractors: "Our express drivers are under the RLA and can't go union Yours are under the NLRA and can do so rather easily.....But that's your problem".

Customers will no longer have a choice if ground of express delivers their package.

But they'll have the choice of FedEx or UPS.
They never said overnight service was going anywhere. Main focus of FedEx right now is how they can get customers to ship more overnight parcels. FedEx could care less about the cheap 2 day stuff. Priority overnight, standard overnight, FO is where the moneys being printed

FedEx can't create demand. Premium services will increase when the demand for those services increase. But if FedEx has issues delivering deferred products customers will go to the competition for premium services.
