"In my view, we do not have discretion to deny the filing of a bill of complaint in a case that falls within our original jurisdiction," wrote Alito, joined by Thomas. "I would therefore grant the motion to file the bill of complaint but would not grant other relief, and I express no view on any other issue."
—Justice Alito.

This is the opinion of Alito and Thomas

relief is stopping the electoral process while they hear the case, your quote clearly shows they do not offer any opinion on the merits of any case that may come in front of them.

Violated their own states constitution huh? So tell me just how did Pennsylvania violate it's constitution?

they changed the electoral process without going through the legislature. they had different processes and applications in democratic run counties than republican ones. its all out there if you're really interested in more than a BC argument.

Texas changed the election process as well. It would have been funny to year what the scotus had to say about that but the filing is said to look like something a sixth grader wrote so they dismissed it out of hand.

Just discredited claims of election fraud in swing states. Election officials and U.S. Attorney General Bill Barr have said there is no evidence of election fraud on a scale that could have swayed the results.
the only thing the court discredited is the right of one state challenging another states election process. no decision on the merits of the challenge.

Barr has not seen or reviewed the trump lawyers evidence , he has not said that there is no evidence.

this case will play out one way or the other. spinning statements to win an argument here makes you sound desperate.

Joe should just take charge now. donald has been missing in action for a while now.

Basement bitch Biden is busy hiding from the media finally reporting about investigations into his family's well documented corruption.

Okay, he can start Monday.
The Retrumplicans can cry and moan all they want but here's the bottom line. They were given every opportunity to produce the evidence required to support their claim of voter fraud and irregularities . Numerous courts repeatedly asked for evidence. if it existed WHY didn't they provide it?
And then the Texas boys got in it and SCOTUS threw it right back in their faces making it clear that they had no legal basis to interfere in another state's election process especially when the Texas suit was motivated by nothing more the fact that they didn't like the outcome.

Now when you combine the lack of standing with the lack of evidence just how could the outcome have been any different?
