It's not about what should or shouldn't have been done. The scripture is written. We don't see the disciples being baptized in the manner that you say gives salvation. There's a possibility that your view is incorrect. That's all that I'm trying to point out. I love the command to be baptized and everyone should be doing it but for you to cast everyone else into hades because they don't agree with your view is spiritual pride & self righteous. The very reason the pharasees were always chided by Jesus.
