Really? There is no saved, lost, saved, lost, saved, lost
Is forgiveness conditional or unconditional?
Are you saying grace is just automatically imputed?
Really? There is no saved, lost, saved, lost, saved, lost
youre in favor of genocide and slavery?well that would make sense as to why you believe the things you do.
I would rather not have it happenyoure in favor of genocide and slavery?
so then you are selective tooI would rather not have it happen
i got more contradictionsok @rickyb..... contradiction claim number 1.... even Luke's version suggests that Jesus did indeed baptize Jesus, he simply adds that John was in prison at a point also. He never claims that someone else did the baptizing. Show me the text in the bible where that's wrong. It's also a recurring attempt to say the bible contradicts itself by using the viewpoints of different individual accounts. Just because the accounts are identical doesn't make it contradictory.
That's not me cherry picking anything biblicalso then you are selective too
thats good.
Those are all old covenant Old Testament rules that the Jews had at that time. That is not what the new covenant of Christianity is now. Your minister didn't also tell you this?i got more contradictions

Why don't you at least look at what the actual scripture says and decide for yourself instead of blindly listening to your minister only.
Simon was the same thing judas was. They saw something new that they thought they could take advantage of.Was Simon in or out ?
The king of personal attacks is crying victim again? So even though the Bible is clear that Simon believed (was a believer) and was baptized you put him in your same made up stuff against all scripture about Judas some how wasn't a believer that Jesus was the son of God. Talk about an agenda. You bleed every false thing Calvin made up to keep from letting the Bible speak for itself.
Simon didn't want money. Read the scripture for a change.
Love Matthew 7:21. You might consider what that will is. You're far from it.
I'm quick? Sounds like you're going personal again when you can't answer with scripture. My agenda is His will, not mine. I crave the control? You're in bad shape, pal. My "personal style of teaching? I have to say it's nothing like yours. I back what I teach and believe with scripture. You don't.
I'm saying that as baptized Christians we are in a saved state but can lose our salvation if we don't live the Christian life. That we will never be perfect but when we fall short we ask for forgiveness and God will forgive. If we are sincere God will know. There's not a mistake is made, I'm immediately in a lost state. We do the best we can and God will judge us accordingly on the Day of Judgement. But we also can't just sin and expect grace to abound as Paul put it. We have to make an effort.Really?

That would be the abuse of grace Paul was talking about.I'm saying that as baptized Christians we are in a saved state but can lose our salvation if we don't live the Christian life. The very idea of the false doctrine of once saved one cannot be lost, gives one the very mindset to do that.
After one becomes a Christian (He that believes and is baptized shall be saved- Jesus) The relationship demands that forgiveness is still conditional.
Written to Christians: "If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness." 1 John 1:9 Prayer, repentance, confession = Forgiveness
If one believes he cannot be lost and forgiveness is unconditional, why bother.
Are you hearing voices? Are you a disciple?
