they always talk about jesus. ive learned a lot from them. i always remind you guys what they say, and then you forget because of whatever psychological reason. What have they taught you about coming to Christ? I don’t know how long you have followed them but they have done nothing to convince you to give your life to Christ. Why would I want to follow them?
My wife was has her degree in history and I can learn all I want about nazi Germany and how atrocious the Hitler regime was
Make you a deal. Send me links for those guys about what they have to say about how important it is to have Christ in your heart and live to glorify Him and I will watch it allcheck out cornel and cone
You sir, are an absolute master of trolling.they always talk about jesus. ive learned a lot from them. i always remind you guys what they say, and then you forget because of whatever psychological reason.

The book of Romans was written to the church at Rome. Paul was not instructing them how to become Christians.Well I will post several places in the Bible that can answer that, but I’ll start with Romans10:9…. “For if you profess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved”
Now before I watch these, do they speak of the importance of salvation? Or are they simply preaching how we should strive to live like they claim Jesus would be?![]()

What Christmas Means - Truthdig
The tale of Jesus’ birth is not for oppressors. It is for the oppressed. And what is quaint and picturesque to those who live in privilege is visceral and empowering to those the world condemns.www.truthdig.com
ahhi gave you hedges. o well its good too.
Then what would you say about someone like myself who is saved and baptized but differs with your view in that manner? If I help others to come to salvation and also get baptized is that not salvation in your eyes? Or just teaching wrong? Or both? The book of Romans was written to the church at Rome. Paul was not instructing them how to become Christians.
If one is saved when he confesses Christ prior to baptism, we have one saved before the Lord promised. "He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved" (Mk. 16:16). So, if the Ethiopian eunuch in Acts 8 was saved before baptism, he was saved contrary to the promise of Jesus. The same type argument can be made on Acts 2:38; 22:16; 1 Pet. 3:21; Gal. 3:26, 27; Col. 2:12; Rom. 6:3, 4; Jn. 3:3, 5.
Confession of Christ as Lord is essential (Rom. 10:9, 10). However, many call him, "Lord," who will not obey him. "And why call ye me, Lord, Lord, and do not the things which I say" (Lk. 6:46)? "Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven" (Matt. 7:21). If one says confession is always indicative of salvation, then those who call him, "Lord, Lord," are saved in their disobedience. If not, why not?
An item cannot be a condition of salvation and an evidence of salvation at the same time and in the same sense. Romans 10:9, 10 reveals that confession is a condition unto salvation. As such, confession is represented as both a condition and an evidence of salvation at the same time and in the same sense. That is impossible.
Faith, for example, is a condition of salvation (Jn. 8:24; Heb. 11:6). Faith is an evidence of salvation (1 Jn. 5:1). But it is not a condition and an evidence at the same time and in the same sense. A condition points forward; an evidence looks backward.
Belief and confession are conditions unto salvation (Rom. 10: 9,10).
No interpretation of any passage can be allowed if it contradicts other plain statements of Scripture. To say confession ONLY saves you is false teaching.
You jumped here. Then what would you say about someone like myself who is saved and baptized but differs with your view in that manner? If I help others to come to salvation and also get baptized is that not salvation in your eyes? Or just teaching wrong? Or both?
You don't know what you speak of. Don't make it sound like you're on some victory run. You never answered any of my arguments on the HS, The Lord's return, or baptism. If you made an effort to convince me of your false doctrines , I would hate to see any less effort.Good luck! Coming up on 3 years going back & forth with this guy. I can save you the 3 years real quick.
His is a works based system where you "get yourself in", You are not filled with the holy spirit & Jesus is not coming back to the earth for a millennial reign.
I learned that not all Coc assemblies believe in baptismal regeneration or are as stringent as Bf's
I’m not exactly sure how to respond to it all. What is the main conclusion of all that? It’s confusing to me. I see all the verses I sent to stand on their own. It is what they state. There are also verses that speak of repenting and getting baptized also, but to me doesn’t contradict the most important thing, which is asking Christ into your life as Savior and the baptizing is a work that is called upon afterwardYou jumped here.
Read my comment. Respond to it.
Does this verse stand on its own?I’m not exactly sure how to respond to it all. What is the main conclusion of all that? It’s confusing to me. I see all the verses I sent to stand on their own. Where again does the Bible teach this?My baptism came after that and was an important step to show that commitment because the bible does teach that.
I would be glad to expound on these verses, but if you're locked in and just find it "interesting" what other people "feel" and given your lack of response to Rom 10:9 and not "I simply want to know and do what God's word teaches"..I'll wait.Romans 3:22,,, 4:5,,,, 3:28
Galatians 2:16
Ephesians 2: 8-9
You make up stuff then tell me I'm dishonest for not agreeing with you. Literally over and over again. You couldn't recognize the truth even if it was the broad side of a barn right in front of you.you are badly confused religion descendant my friend
your greatest fault is you struggle to be honest.
they always talk about jesus. ive learned a lot from them. i always remind you guys what they say, and then you forget because of whatever psychological reason.
Romans 10 9 is the exact thing I’m talking about when I mention asking Jesus into my life. Just because I’m not saying the exact words of the verse itself doesn’t mean that I didn’t get saved. You can expound all you like if you think it may change anything, but I know I’m saved. I did exactly what Romans 10 9 says. I believe in Him and shall have everlasting life (John 3:16)Does this verse stand on its own?
"Baptism, which corresponds to this, now saves you,"- 1 Peter 3:21 It is what it states.
You cannot find any where in the Bible where it is taught or was done to "ask Christ in your life". Christ commands obedience. Not made up blow that does nothing.
You also fail to show that baptism is a work. Where is that taught in the Bible? Where is it taught to be done "afterward"
Where again does the Bible teach this?
The key is the word only. Many things save that we are commanded and taught to obey. Faith. But, not faith only. Repentance. But not repentance only. Confession. But, not confession only. Baptism. But, not baptism only. All play a part in one becoming a Christian.
If you're truly exited to open your bible, do it.
