I can still tell you exactly where I was and what I was doing. The post-9/11 world has never been the same.
Despite the tragic loss of 3000 souls, it was a wake up call that we desperately needed.

Sad a lot of kids don't really understand. Others ignore the fact of who was behind it

I was only 2 at the time but I do recall my parents talking about it.
I still remember our company doing absolutely nothing. Just keep on delivering.
The Mayor finally called UPS and said get your trucks the F* out if the city.
Sorry about the rant but it still ticks me off.
I admire the company for treating it like business as usual. Brought about a sense of normalcy.
Then only thing the company did was make a bigger mess in the city. The city was being evacuated.
And then there are those who think our own gov't played a hand in it....
Yep, got to my first stop and the receiver there told me I think we've just been attacked.
Unfortunately this country didn't wake up, instead its countinuing down the same path allowing the corrupt to take over and ignore the Constitution. 7 years after it happened we have a muslim/muslim sympithizer elected into the White House....go figure. No lesson learned here.

And tomorrow all NYC public schools are closed for a Muslim holiday.
AND...Law makers are pushing free halal and kosher lunches in NYC schools...because the parents don't have time or can't afford them....big joke.
