I get this. But it isnt like shes complaining about his hours, or that he gets home too late. Just wants to suprise her husband. Thats not a bad thing to care that much. But at UPS things are different.

I don't see how the guy would get made fun of for his wife trying to plan a surprise birthday trip. Yes her calling to complain to his sup/center manager or ask when he'll be done tonight but not trying to plan a surprise party.

That could be doable, in most cases. Try to go through a sup, that has a heart, and maybe you could pull it off. In the cold parts of the country the old guys like summertime off.. I always liked being off when it was cold.

Yeah he’s probably that employee at my husband’s work that can’t work springs/summers because of a ‘health condition’

If he has two years and right now and last year he had three weeks off that does not add up
Maybe I'm missing something
You know it sucks getting time off when you don't have any seniority.
But to be honest with you FMLA days or the new way of getting whatever days I want off.

He was in charge of all their finances, so I'm not sure if she ever figured it out. Lol.
