According to Rudy the search warrant was for all electronic devices. Do you have any information that disputes that?
The warrant required they take all things electronic. Which they did except for that hard drive. Which they treated like it was radioactive.

He identified it as belonging to Hunter Biden That in turn brings up questions regarding it's relevance to the investigation and the biggest question of all..... If it was in fact the personal property of Hunter Biden how did Rudy obtain the hard drive and did he obtain it legally? The DOJ isn't stupid. They could plainly see what RG was trying to do and that was to find any legal grounds he could come by in an effort to get the warrant and whatever evidence collected thrown out. His efforts strategy could not have been more obvious. So much so that even the TV lawyers figured it out.
So their warrant was to obtain devices that might have proof that Rudy did something illegally, but they don't want to touch something that he may have obtained illegally? Yah, great logic there.
Desperate people do strange and desperate things. The FBI/DOJ was too smart to fall for RG's little bag of tricks. The warrant was clear, specific and narrowly focused on two named individuals and Hunter Biden was NOT one of them.

Remember RG TOLD them that it was property of Hunter Biden. Right away it fell outside the narrow focus and limitations spelled out in the warrant and simply by telling them that it was Hunter Biden's personal property it immediately was rejected by the FBI. Now perhaps if RG new enough to keep his mouth shut for once and simply let them include Biden's hard drive in along with the rest of the evidence collected not knowing that it was Biden's even then it couldn't have been used in any prosecution because it would have been obtained illegally if it was not specifically listed in the warrant So just what the hell is your point?

I imagine you would have posted it already if you did.
All electronic devices included Hunter Biden's hard drive could have unknowingly been confiscated if Giuliani had kept his mouth shut. But the FBI knew right away what Giuliani was up to. He was trying to soil the warrant. Once they took the hard drive he would have argued in court that the warrant was executed in error and the evidence tainted and therefore thrown out. He might have had a decent chance of prevailing but he couldn't keep his mouth shut. And the Biden hard drive itself could not have been used as evidence in court in a prosecution of Biden because it too was acquired in error. It should not be this hard for you to understand. He was trying to find a legal technicality that would serve as a get out of jail free card. It might have been a different story altogether if he had kept his mouth shut for once and not going running off to Fox News.

I haven’t followed this story one bit, but that sounds right. Rudy is in trouble so he cries about Hunter and makes up a story about all the evidence he has. Unfortunately for him that only works on FOX, courts don’t care about whataboutism.
How old is Rudy now? And he's running circles around much younger guys. The Biden administration is seeking to destroy Trump's circle because they exposed Biden and son's corruption. Interesting version of democracy y'all have got going there.

If the FBI just "took his word for it", what would they do if RG told them all electronic devices were related to HB's business? Would they have left empty handed on his word alone?
You're not answering the questions. Did the Hunter Biden's hard drive fall within the parameters set forth and the language described in the warrant? How did Rudy Giuliani obtain the hard drive he claims to be the property of Hunter Biden? What's it doing in his possession? He's no longer a commissioned law enforcement official.
