It's easy to gin up moral outrage here but the ones doing the ginning up usually are using morality as a way to manipulate public sentiment. It's about the money that can be made by both restarting the Cold War as well as replacing Russia as Europe's main source of oil and gas. It's always about the money. And the power. It may be easy to manipulate young men who want to fight but a lot of us older people have seen this movie many times. And frankly we're tired of all the bloodletting whether it's a despot in Moscow or a bunch of smiling politicians in Washington. At this point humanity should have advanced to the point of helping lesser countries develop into a place where they can have decent lives. Not be treated as playthings there to be exploited.

The intent of the great mobilization at the border was to intimidate and have an easy takeover with no bloodshed. Ukraine never flinched.

How is the media doctoring the footage for this so called crisis? Maybe take some old videos from when Clinton bombed the Serbs and spruce them up so that they look more modern and say hey the Russians are coming !
