I hate it, they are moving me to a Tuesday- Saturday schedule and I'm being a big baby about it.
Yeah because they are gravy ass jobs.Because of the long hours, or day? The people who work that schedule here(not doing ground yet here) like that schedule.
It's amazing how the "oldest biggest and best" logistics company couldn't manage to add a day of work to their schedule withoutSadurday ground? The looks everyones faces, the complaining from drivers before they're even on the clock! late air and wrap-up (drivers not out until after 9:15+) and "in the red"...good luck! At least it's a nice payday, and no rush-hour traffic/schools/buses/ etc.
The whole game has changed at our hub, since the inception of Saturday ground.
They like the days. Air drivers, and such type jobs.Yeah because they are gravy ass jobs.
Beats having no job.I hate it, they are moving me to a Tuesday- Saturday schedule and I'm being a big baby about it.
13hrs worked on a "9.7" dispatch on our 1st Saturday ground operation. 168 stops/175 miles. I hope they get the dispatch straightened out.
Well in all fairness, the other days were already messed up.It's amazing how the "oldest biggest and best" logistics company couldn't manage to add a day of work to their schedule withouting up the other days.
Now we have 4 messed and 2 clustered .Well in all fairness, the other days were already messed up.![]()
Don't you know that 2 hours worked between 1-9 hours is only worth 30 minutes at anything over 9.4?Wait, so the computer takes 168 stops/175 miles and says that it is a 9.7 day? That would only be possible if the package car could fly. Is there a reason the software doesn't work like it does Monday through Friday?
